An attempt to build an Engine Control Unit based on stm32.
It's really not that hard.

Temperatures are measured using thermistors - that's what these temperature sensors are. We measure the voltage in the voltage divider, we then calculate the current thermister resistance based on the voltage and the know resistance of the pull-up resistor, and then all we need is the magic equasion to figure out the temperature:
