I havea little red led by the micro usb thats lit.
The big red led by the mini usb is also lit.

Please take a picture with the USB TTL device and without the simulation wire, maybe this would do the trick.
I am out of ideas for now, I will go fix the bug and update you once I've done that.

i guess you're having issues with your usb-to-serial converter - probably lack of drivers?
the easiest way to check if it works is connecting its Tx pin to its Rx pin (without any other boards) and typing stuff in your hyper terminal.
here's what I've found for XP:

so probably you should be able to connect to com15 with you hyper terminal, and, provided that everything works fine and you have connected your tx pin to your rx pin on the usb-to-serial converter, you should see what you type in your terminal. when you disconnect these two pins from each other, you shouldn't see anything on the screen when you type.

Aha , thank you Puff!
Now i have the right settings in my usb-ttl device.
My mistake its working.
When i type with rx and tx together i get what i write in PUTTy.
If i disconnect rx and tx nothing appears in PUTTy.

imho without having echo (with RX and TX pins connected to each other) there's no sense to continue with discovery
do you have the prolific driver installed? (

what's the OS you are using? XP? 7?
could it be that your converter is broken?

nice!
well, next, when you right-click that com15 thing, you'd probably see the window where you can change the baud rate. change it to 115200. try connecting all four wires to the discovery board (not sure if the red one should go to 5V or to 3.3V). open the same hyper term, com15, and hit 't' in the english layout.
hope this works…

Here you have connected TS to the wrong COM port - it does not like the microUSB feed, it wants the TTL feed.

russian, what version of TS are known to work? I've seen TS make updates that break older versions. Can you verify he's using a compatible version of TS.

That's a compatible version and the issue is before TS for sure, we have not confirmed connectivity yet and there is a real chance there is a bug in rusEfi. Tomorrow it be better
