I'm concerned about it thermally. Those are some high Rds values. Based on Rds only I get the below graphic if everything is on.
The datahseet notes an Rth of 2 to 5, which is way high for that slug, so they must be recommending the attached heat sink be below 2 to 5 C/W. The spread sheet used the 5C/W, however I have no idea what we an achieve so it's something we'll need to pay close attention to. Either that or we'll have to keep the ambient below -5C
Yes duty cycle and not using all channels can help quite a bit. I'd like to design the thermal such that you can run 100% if possible, such that it become one less item to worry about.
I have just recently renovated the control unit MED17.5, where just 6244 chip is used in the control channel of the low-pressure fuel pump. The failure of this chip is not uncommon for these control units, so I can only say that its use can cause some problems. But I'm not sure, because in the MED17.5 chip is used from the manufacturer BOSCH, its denomination is 30620, I do not know this analogue or BOSH simply orders with its marking data chips. I have not found, and it is unlikely to find a datasheet course 30620. Does anyone know what information is about how BOSCH uses its chips - are they complete analogues or for BOSCH specifically produce individual chips? Or is it the same thing?
