But...
...I also propose to make "Introduction" an own chapter of ./User Support.
This is the entry door for each and every NewBe into the board (at least it should be).

Ciao!
Like always the truth is somewhere in-between.

What is the intent for your 12-channel pressure aquisition? Why are you doing it?

kr, sepp2gl
Same main reason you're doing 4 channel I'm guessing. I use it to to show me what needs adjustment. I have a display that shows % error relative to the TB the actuator is connected to, this make physically adjusting them easier (each has an adjusting screw just like your honda carbs). Then the ECU calculates global fuel based on average MAP but uses the cylinder signals to adjust fuel up or down in each cylinder to get a good mixture regardless of how well the TB are physically adjusted....so I am doing kind or the opposite of what it appears you are doing with you computer making on the fly physical adjustments, I'm making fuel trim adjustments to avoid needing better physical adjustment.

Did you tell your left cylinder-bank to stop smoking?
What was the reason? Cylinder-head gasket?
Thanks. yes its got head gasket problems....I'll update the thread this weekend once I know if a re-torque fixed it or I need to pull the engine anmd replace them. Teething issue

I'm just kind of chuckling seeing your setup as it appears we both saw the same issue, then went in opposite directions to try to fix it. I'm a mechanical guy and chose an ECU fix, you're an ECU guy and chose a more mechanical fix. This makes me suspect its a more difficult problem than either of us are admitting to yourselves. :?

ONLY 4?
I guess 4 is plenty when you ONLY have 4 cylinders ;)

Seriously though, very nice. It is good to see another sole who believes every cylinder needs its own MAP sensor.

Purpose1: MAP-based ignition, synching the carbs by steppers based on 4(!) MAP-sensors, Idle-speed control with stepper
I would love to only need 4 :)

I feel bad for you having TUV so, I guess given the choice of TUV looking over my shoulder or 12 MAP sensors I'll take the 12 MAPs :)

Maybe I misunderstood AndreyB's question about my own DIYEFI project.
I falsely related it to DiyEFI-forum of Fred Cooke (FreeEMS).
Actually I intended to operate my Honda-motorcycle CB750K, a 4-cyl. 750ccm by a DIY-electronic.
Purpose1: MAP-based ignition, synching the carbs by steppers based on 4(!) MAP-sensors, Idle-speed control with stepper
Purpose2: Ignition as above, replacement of the carbs by an EFI; I already procured throttle-bodies with injectors and TPS years ago.

Purpose2 is highly ambitious (even with my background) because it will need an official release from german TÜV.
With Purpose1 I made an electronis based on Arduino for the synching and I am in the process of mounting it to the CB750K.

But my main purpose to join here is to consult and advice.
I joined engine development as an electronics engineer in 1983 and kept it until my retirement.
There is plenty of experience to share.

Slack is a tool for quick communication thats built with "channels" to focus conversation. Think of it as the messaging App for development, problem solving, and instant communication.

I highly recommend checking it out

Welcome to the forum! Do you have any DIY EFI projects/test mules in mind?

Also some activity happens on Slack chat https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1198

So I can just append my introduction as a newbe in this forum, which I discovered by chance just yesterday.
I am a retired automotive engineer. My professional background through most the years was more or less about all aspects of combustion engine control (both diesel and gasoline).
So from time to time I wander through the web to find out, what is going on on the DIY scene. And so I did yesterday.
There are always some interesting discussions and topics, where I might be able to help.
