Re: rusEfi own wide band controller board add-on using CJ125
I plan to do some testing with adv sensor. I was also supposed to update github with info on the open issue. Lifes been too busy to sit down and do it . Maybe soon. . Existing Cj125 is compatible with all lsu sensors depending on software and selection of a few resistors and capacitors. and we actua...

Re: L9788 - multifunction IC for automotive engine management system
there are parallel inputs for outputs 1 thru 7, for ign 1 thru 4 and 1 for pwm of stepper in l9779.looks like the 5 relay drivers are spi control only. The l9780 main appeal was ntk compatability and us vendor availability. I was unaware cj125 is able to drive ntk sensors. Cj125 is working fine for ...

Re: L9788 - multifunction IC for automotive engine management system
L9779 spi looks very promising. Looked at datasheet few months back. I like it has 3.3 reg integrated.. It's on my to do list to spin a simple pcb to put one on a dev board. It seems to be readily available chip and is 7 us dollars cheaper than tle8888. Maybe somewhere down the line I'll get to it. ...

Re: obd1 honda/gm daughterboard. 27sf512 EEPROM emulator
Revised the schematic where I had some errors. Re spun the PCB using more common sram chip. Will update thread once I've got some boards in hand and done some testing. B18libra : if your capable of firmware development and willing to help I'd be happy to take the time to provide the info you asked f...

Bench testing with nucleo stm32f767zi once cj125 boards and components arrive. Will cj125 work on any other spi port like spi4 rather than spi2?

Future electronics shows 11 in lqfp32. Ill order there. Only place I can find elsewhere is from china auction sites. I try to avoid them when It comes to ic's.

Re: let's choose an enclosure
The pcb header, the connector and connector cover all are available on Alibaba for a couple dollars each. One seller shows the connector with all 73 terminals for 5 us dollars. Or mouser has individual terminals for the connector at 0.19 a piece. With 10,000 currently in stock https://www.mouser.com...

Looks like tyco 73 pin connector .
Any thoughts?
Would love to find an enclosure to use the molex mx123 connector and PCB header

Re: microRusEfi
I know there are the 4 ignition high side outputs on the 48 pin molex header for driving coils. Can the 1 x 04 header from tle8888 drive 4 additional coils with internal igbt. ?. I see the ign in circuits are grounded in tle8888 and not hooked to stm32 like the inj in circuits . looking at data shee...

Re: obd1 honda daughterboard. 27sf512 eeprom emulator
Welcome along, and thanks for the post. I agree that software resources are our issue here. There are is also the issue that the software people need to have a development platform to develop with, which makes it harder to get software resources available. AKA you need to have an extra car, and mos...

Re: obd1 honda daughterboard. 27sf512 eeprom emulator
sure it was solved long ago monty....as were standalone efi controllers... , doesnt mean others shouldnt want to complete the same thing on their own in a diy manner for much less money.Anyone can go and buy an Ostrich or Hondata. Just like anyone can go and buy A haltech, aem, link, ecumaster, etc....

obd1 honda/gm daughterboard. 27sf512 EEPROM emulator
Hello to all, I have been lurking and following for a few years. This will be my first post. I would like to say rusefi open source platform has been great for the diy tuning efi community. I have considered spinning rusefi board with pnp connector for obd1 honda. However most folks seem to be perfe...
