when you put the voltmeter on the signal wires from the pedal
with 5V and ground supplied to pedal
and move the pedal up and down
what are the voltages output on the wires?
0.5 to 3.5V on one output?
and
4.5 to 0.5 V on the second output?
that is normal for most bosch units

you can take the parking brake assembly out of the bmw 760li without taking out the rear air conditioner. also, you do NOT have to take off the parking brake assembly from the rear wheels.(like NewTIS tells you to do) open the parking brake actuator all the way to the "assembly mode" take ...

i replaced the piston ring and dissecant
in the air pump for the air suspension
and it works much better now
pumps up the air springs in 30 sec instead of 5 minutes

tranny fluid change needs a new pan/filter too-- like $60 plus the fluid is expensive ... and you only get a few quarts out by dropping the pan... it holds like 10 total in the tranny cooler, torque converter, etc and you need a special tool to pump out the remaining 8 quarts how much longer are you...
