Re: Unofficial RUSEFI DASH
Totally forgot about this thread. It was very hard for me to get it to compile on the Raspberry Pi. The Pi4 now uses a totally different build of linux and ive not had to work either. I have a iso file of a working dash. The problem is that its not user friendly at all.

Re: Torque model for rusefi
This definitely neededs to be implement with torque-based chassis. I'm currently using a standalone with a LS swapped 2008 BMW M3 with M3 DCT and it drives not so well due to the lack of somewhat accurate torque calculations. I was planning on developing a torque calculation based on what other ECU...

Re: Soldering tricks & hints
For those looking at a cheap but very good Iron. I would look at the TS100. But I would re-flash the firmware with this. https://github.com/Ralim/IronOS I used the shit minware Firmware for around a year. And it was good yes, But once I flashed it with the early build of this I couldn't believe how ...

Re: How to clean used PCB headers
Since this is literally just the connector. I would try 2+2 Gum Cutter carb cleaner or Gunk Brand carb cleaner. Should be absolutely safe on the plastic. And then a long bristle parts cleaner brush to get down in between the pins if needed.

Re: Pierburg electric water pump
Random issue I have found is that having the Pump on a switched relay seems to cause issue's. I am going to wire it so that the Pump sees 12V at all times so that It properly goes into standby mode. What I am seeing is with it wired to IGN that after a while after startup and DC is set to less than ...

Realdash I thought of. But the Android Limitation is what I found. Getting it to run decently fast on a Raspberry PI is a no go. The Raspberry Pi Official 7" Is fairly bright and is dimable. I have one installed in a friends Evo IX Drag car. Heres the link to my backup .img Again you need at le...

Re: Unofficial RUSEFI DASH
You probably need to allocate more cores to the VM. I do it all with a VM on a laptop. The first time it takes like 3 or 4 hours is all. Booting to login is normal since QT cant launch on RPI4. This is due to PowerTune requiring EGLFS. And EGLFS isnt supported on RPI4. Sorry that I didnt see your po...

52MM CAN Guage
None of the work is credit to me other than stumbling upon this. Originally this gauge is for a Megasquirt system, Obviously this wont work for us. But since that part is just coding hardware wise its no brainer. Here's a link to his dev page https://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=5...

Re: Unofficial RUSEFI DASH
Powertune Repo doesnt build the firmware or QT. Buildroot builds the firmware crosscompiles QT, and compiles Powertune and outputs a 1GB img file to burn to a SD card.

I say unofficial because I don't think a consensus has been made what that would be. But in the mean time we can fiddle around with something. What I have for yall is something of not my making. But I have absolutely worked to get it to a point that it works. What I have requires a Raspberry Pi 3 B+...

Ti bolts are below. Thought they where in last batch. But I had to mod the front to properly mount the Sciroco radiator. Hopefully its large enough to keep this car cool if I decide to drive it on hotter days.
