Re: Teves mk60 Standalone ABS
I am meeting an E46 owner this week (probably tomorrow night). He has installed a KDFI (Megasquirt offshoot) and has problems with the instrument cluster, he gets no data displayed, no RPM and no engine temperature. I do not know what year the car is. I will definitely make a log and see what I can ...

Re: BMW M70 in 8 series with Proteus?
Hey Andrey,
correct, we've got manual throttle sync with the help of the trim table.
To close #3680 we need:
-> support for second MAF
-> automatic sync based on air mass
That's it

Re: Feature Requests - Feature Bounty Program
@Andrey and Matthew: I would put $300 bounty at https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/3680 Automatic or manual sync? Automatic, of course. Or a mix? Initial sync manual and then a kind of „keep air masses in sync“? Two MAFs and then balance the air mass, when the engine is warm and is idling, lik...

@Andrey and Matthew: I would put $300 bounty at https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/3680 Plus: – possibility to increase idle RPM, i.e. when AC is on – possibility to temporary (depends of input state) increase RPM, I.e. when trany engages the gear ( change from N to D). It is something for Lua?...

Re: Volvo electric power steering pump CAN bus control
Hello Matthew, thank you for the explanation. A colleague of mine is looking for an electric pump, as a replacement for the servo pump in the 8-series. Our servo pump has a maximum pressure of 120bar. The closest pump we know of is the one from a Mini with 105bar. It is not regulated, knows only on ...

Re: 5HP CAN bus transmission control
Hey Andrey, I will try to bring some light into the darkness. :) So, first of all: 5HP is in every BMW (BMW called this gearbox A5S....., i.e. A5S560Z for 5HP with 560Nm) a CAN controlled gearbox, always and every time. 4hp (used with M70 i.e.) is always "digital controlled", GPIOs and PWM...

Re: V12 M73 to Audi trans, with Proteus in Lamborghini Replicas
If/when we build proper "full" multi-bank fueling (multiple MAFs, each control some cylinders), then it'll be trivial to enable that and remove the balance tube. That was exactly my thought too! Even without the "balance tube" it should be possible with the help of both MAFs to ...

Re: V12 M73 to Audi trans, with Proteus in Lamborghini Replicas
Thanks for the explanation. In my M70 setup, I will install two MAFs (one per bank), connect both to ecu, but configure only one for control, the second will be "just so". Then I will connect the both banks (a kind of "balancing hose") that the air mass in both banks is still the...

Re: V12 M73 to Audi trans, with Proteus in Lamborghini Replicas
I'm (slowly) working on adding a small table to adjust throttle-to-throttle trim instead of a hack like that. Mat, you are the best! I am waiting impatiently for it. Why not the "right" etb synchronization with two MAFs or MAPs? I think the effort would be similar, isn't? @lambo97: Instea...

In the list of sensors there is a sensor called DriverThrottleIntent . What is the unit of this sensor, is it percent, is it angle, what is it? Hello Matt, I will use a very small Lua script on my M70 to provide "driver requirement" for ASC/MSR and EGS as PWM signal. See this (below at Signal = DKV) and this (pseudo code! not quite finished yet). In the list of sensors there is a sensor called DriverThrottleIntent . What is the un...

Result:

-> no MSC devices (neither internal flash nor SD card)
I have not used the PROG button, there is everything purely via software.

Re: E65 N73 CAN bus
BMW F-series are using diagnostic over ethernet, and not k-line like out E-Series.
I've just looked in my log files, I don't have 0x612 or 0x618 there. It really seems to have something to do with the diagnostics. The 0x6xx number range is for "services", it starts at 0x580.
