LY5, so 5.3 ETB, DOD deleted no VVT. I'm not sure about the exact size of the TB but it's the stock one. Andrey, by preset, what do you mean exactly? A MSQ or the preset in the console? Also, I already have an OK tune on my megasquirt for this engine, I thought on using that as a base https://rusef...

Re: motor cycle "safety system" - how to implement?
OEM bikes: kick stand must be up, or clutch applied to crank. Must be in neutral. Tip over only 85*. Kill switch should kill main ecu power (Unless canbus, in this case shut off fuel pump, injection, and ignition).

Warning: If you have large ETB spring load position (20% in ls case) and ETB doesnt turn on for some reason, you will have this issue.
Shutting down is unrelated to that issue.

S13 Proteus drift car - LQ4 with cams, injectors, heads
Proteus, PSC controller, Mazda pump, custom center screen (Rushed so ugly). Proteus acting as BCM, and a MRE acting as canbus alarm system. Reads can info from proteus, WBO, and PSC controller to see if theres issues, and light up error lights on dashboard. Mostly because I ran out of IO on proteus.

Re: Soldering tricks & hints
Be careful of the low temp solder paste you got. It's great for desoldering stuff from boards because it lowers the melting temp of the original lead free solder but if used for soldering it makes fragile solder connections. Don't use it on anything that is exposed to mechanical forces or smd parts...

Re: Soldering tricks & hints
As per wikipedia. Context implies I cannot use flux alone to solder connectors. Will require either solder wire, or solder balls.

Correction, Mark USES this shit, but doesn't love it.
I use it because getting Amtech flux is fucking impossible nowadays. The solder paste I use, I don't use for BGA, but for when im a lazy fuck and dont wanna bother soldering every damn connector pin individually.

No please don't do this. if you do, hide behind bullet proof plexiglass. Also reminder, 150k+ RPM. Hell of a resolution. Well technically all I need for my demo purposes is Sensor TURBO Speed "Turbocharger Boost Sensor" like 144A3EZ40C 144A3-EZ40C or 144A3-5CA1A 144A35CA1A and a drill :)

Hello Matthew, thank you for the explanation. A colleague of mine is looking for an electric pump, as a replacement for the servo pump in the 8-series. Our servo pump has a maximum pressure of 120bar. The closest pump we know of is the one from a Mini with 105bar. It is not regulated, knows only on...

My friend, log and tune are ALWAYS required with any question. Please supply log. Without a log, we are guessing everything you're doing. We need to know what the car is doing, and why it is doing it.
Thank you!
Thank you!
