Re: Cant import tune file to (megalogviewer)

I also had this issue where MegaLogViewerHD was reporting that my files were coming in as "Version 2" and that it only supports "Version 1". Turns out, I was running v4.4.43 from the MegaLogViewerHD website, which is *not* the latest. The latest can seemingly only be obtained by...

Re: Shadow Dash! Anyone successfully running it?

What is the overall state of Shadow Dash? How come it's not on google play? On my phone it says it's not supported even when I install it from .apk? I found this, but not sure how to go about setting it up. I plan to try this over the next few days. I’d hate to spend hours on this only to be unsucc...

Shadow Dash! Anyone successfully running it?

While I’m not sure if I’m in the right section, I’m trying to see if anyone is successively running shadow dash using an android device? I just installed the android head unit below in my 1990 Mazda Miata running the Hellen64 ECU purchased from BeerMoneyMotorsports, and I’d like to get shadow dash t...

SOLVED
The injection phase was the issue. For an MX5 it should be about 400 degrees but the base map had it set to -180/540 degrees

Please share a screenshot of these changes.

Has anyone heard back anything concerning this issue? I upgraded to Megalogviewer HD just for the purpose of using the analyzer.

This is my attempt to make the blip better but it still bogs. I've attached a log to this tune of me blipping the throttle at idle. Would someone be able to advise? https://www.rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=1006

Did you ever get this figured out?

Re: Help me understand the wall wetting function and it’s adjustments

Thanks to BeerMoneyMotorsports we made some changes to dead time settings and made VE changes to get the AFR back to normal. Now the car seems to run even smoother than before.

Re: Help me understand the wall wetting function and it’s adjustments

Ok, I've finally got logged in using my laptop. I'm uploading my tune and the last log. I've been playing with the numbers in AE, but I cant say I truly understand how the table actually works in reference to throttle position. I'm hoping that will be explained so I'll better understand. Fuel needs...

Help me understand the wall wetting function and it’s adjustments

Trying to work out a small issue of when I attempt to revmatch during downshifts. It seems at slower speeds, less rpm, i blip the throttle and it goes lean, but at higher speeds it appears to rev just fine. From all the reading I’ve done here, it appears that the wall wetting adjustment seems to be ...

Re: Boost control tuning

I have no idea how the megasquirt's PID boost control works. The rusEFI values are all in understandable to units: P = % per kPa error I = % per kPa-seconds D = % per kPa/sec So: If the boost error is 5kpa, and your P is set to 2, it will make a correction of 10%. If the boost error has been 5kPa f...

Re: Boost control tuning

The PID values. They seem to be a little different when compared to MSQ users I see online. MSQ users of what? rusEFI? Was speaking from a Megasquirt perspective. As I’ve read, they suggest starting with a high number in P, like 185. I’m trying to figure what is considered a high number in rusEFI? ...

Re: Boost control tuning

Can you tell me what values to start with for tuning closed loop boost control? I have my open loop pretty much dialed in like I want it. What values where? Here's an example of a tune with pretty good boost control (I've endurance raced on it with good control!): https://rusefi.com/online/view.php...

Setting base timing

Hello all. I have a 1990 Miata. Can someone point me in the right direction to set the base timing? I performed the first start today and it cranked and idled. Im new to rusEFI, therefore I need a little help with this procedure. Im also somewhat new to tuning and I’m looking forward to this journey...
