Re: MRE issues with AN pins

We are discussing pin 32 right not 36?

Loose wires reading does not mean anything, stuff has to be connected. AT inputs are expected to read voltage but we focus on av6 pin 32 here right?

Re: MRE issues with AN pins

Please post a photo of the wiring around MRE. Please compare digital multimeter reading with raw voltage gauge if we have raw voltage for that sensor. If we do not we shall add it really quick.

Re: MRE issues with AN pins

Pin 32 is av6. Let's figure out why does it not work for you. Please link your tune. Please confirm you had power cycled ecu after setting change. Please confirm no FATAL indicator

Grrrrr. https://www.tunerstudio.com/ mentions Shadow Dash MS as authored by tuner studio authors.

Grrrrr. AT commands do not mean anything. BLE Bluethoot Low Energy does not have https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bluetooth_profiles#Serial_Port_Profile_(SPP) AT commands do not mean anything.

Got this to work once real transceiver got connected. Also no idea why real board did not work at 500Kbps before and works now.

GDI4 which is PT2001+stm32F103 on the same board is stuck more or less the same way as https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=44162#p44162 just using https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/tree/master/misc/stm32f1_test_project codebase. Need help or moral support :(

I think https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/3806 is a show stopper - anything after Jan 18ish might have performance degradation in it, technically that includes latest release.

First batch of GD32 progress: I've purchased some legit GD32F103CBT6 from lcsc and swapped one of these on a blue pill. We have LED blinking with test project build for stm32F103, with official st-link utility command line doing the flashing

Why? what prevents you from setting number of lobes to zero? Please provide more details screen shots error messages etc.

That's a vague question. Are you getting same message always about HPFP? I doubt that.

Firmware update often comes with new mandatory settings.

What kind of detective work can we do comparing original dev board with two different aliexpress purchases? Does anyone see month of fab or anything encoded here? 935 034 are those batch numbers or else?

Mouser says it's Delphi PPI0001336 but I am still curious if you have KiCAD or not KiCAD footprint :)

Re: Hello from Norway! VW Beetle w. 3D printed intakes, 2x DBW and staged injection

Is that 2x45 or 90 pin connector? What connector is that - is it OEM for any vehicle? It's part of the FCI China knock-off lineup. You also get them in 24, 39 and 56 types. Do you have a datasheet for the 90 pin connector? Did you use KiCAD or something else for your boards - any chance you can pub...

Re: 2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 Turbo GDI test mule #64

With code fix 360 degree VVT swing is gone. 50 degree artifact remains and I will attempt addressing that with longer sync recognition pattern not today. First log cranking with injection/ignition disabled, second log cold start. Would not stay at first after a few attempts got warm enough. This bat...

Re: 2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 Turbo GDI test mule #64

I really think it's related to VVT. I don't think it's just a coincidence that the one time pressure built up really quickly also happened to be the time the VVT went from +190 to -170. Which, BTW, is a 360 degree swing. Cams don't swing 360 degrees without engines going boom. That looks like rusEF...

Re: 2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0 Turbo GDI test mule #64

Zero changes to VVT logic, just added random offset in order to avoid the 360 degree swing which is caused by new setting // random number just to take position away from zero engineConfiguration->vvtOffsets[0] = 180; old code just for reference static angle_t wrapVvt(angle_t vvtPosition, int period...
