Re: Proteus - Waterproof, High-feature ECU!

Proteus 0.6 brought some new drama https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/wiki/HOWTO-nDBANK

At the moment we only know how to deal with it via Stm32CubeProgrammer. They say it should be possible to handle via OpenOCD and St-Link?

Re: The W12 VW Bora

Welcome!

FB group is private, what is the TL,DR of your build status?

When do you plan to fire up that beast and when do you plan to start driving it?! I know, I know, it's a naïve question.

The firmware just has to output PWM that sets the threshold
Do you plan to use GPPWM to begin with or keep it GPPWM forever?

Did you have a chance to drive with that VR input?

Ok, I dead-bugged in a quad NOR chip
Any pictures of https://github.com/mck1117/vr-interface rev B?

Does it require any communication with firmware to control gain or is it completely self-contained?

firmware validates expected state of hardware in terms of electric pull down or pull up

looks like on your board there is no pull in the expected direction so firmware refuses to operate in an unsafe setup

Only thing I cant find are the connectors kit, male/female. Is there a part number I missed somewhere ? Sounds like you've made your purchasing decision without accounting for the price of the connectors :) Connector info is available on the main readme https://github.com/mck1117/proteus#connectors

Many Hellen boards have QMA7981 accelerometer footprint but this chip is no longer stocked by https://lcsc.com/

STLink drivers
My preference is to be precise with small little details. There is no STLink in your life - you are using build in stm32 DFU which is Device Firmware Update protocol. STLink is separate hardware for debugging which you do not have to the best of my knowledge.
