Thanks KB as soon as I can, I'll be assembling, as I now have a solder/heat gun station. I just got it this month. I still need to figure out what way I'm going to go for an oscilloscope, as I have realised just how valuable it could be to get multiple signals.

Re: Oscilloscope
I've found an 8 Channel Hantech reasonably priced on eBay that I think is the go for me. Also a 3x solder station so I can assemble my board. Once I have these items I'll be assembling. I never put something this small together so I want correct tooling to do so. The engine n transmission are in but...

Re: 1993 Holden Commodore VR Ute Australian
Not sure if I should put this under hardware but my question is. I have a MAF sensors from a late model commodore and I'm wondering if I can add this to my system. From what I have read MAF is more precise than running MAP even though MAP supposedly is used in higher HP applications since we have cu...

Oscilloscope
I've been lurking around the forum and though some electrical and code is and has been over my head it would seem general consensus is some sort of oscilloscope really makes this conversion easier. My question is given a person was able to get them for some place in a relative price point, which is ...

Re: Making Diesel Controller
Just a little sidebar GDI (or any petrol) vs Diesel... The fuel on GDI is still being injected during intake stroke, atomising, then compressing. Diesel on the other hand is compressing air 40+ bar normally aspirated engine, then in accordance with rpm timing injecting fuel at the correct time and d...

The other two will be a pulsed signal. Regarding sensors I was reading your thread on your snow blower and you were talking about a hall sensor for the flywheel. Do you think adding one to my fly wheel would have any advantage? I can drill and fit one while engine is out if you advise me which one ...
