Re: Hello from Puerto Rico

When I shipped a Flat rate box to PR for an ebay sale i had to pay an additional 5.00 over the already great price. Shipped a heavy demon carb for 16.95! I'd double check that its the same as US 50 states price, but I'm sure its not 45.00. UPS is crazy high compared to USPS.

Interested in this. I like that it has the wires all ready too. 55 pins should be enough for any 4cyl.

Re: Ford 2.3 Lima

I have a propane torch, but knowing turbodad has done about 270 custom megasquirts to pnp i think he might have tried em all and likes the heat gun for a reason.

Re: Ford 2.3 Lima

Have to find a heat gun and take mine apart. I'll keep my eye out at the junkyards for ecu's I guess. Lots of tempos and topaz that don't need ecu"s LOL.

ECU box

found some different boxes that would work. Some are sealed for exposure to elements. http://www.mouser.com/Enclosures/Enclosures-Boxes-Cases/_/N-5g3p/ One like this would work well. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Hammond/1550WGBK/?qs=fnYUjNMxfVD1eK%2F9K%252bbdcw%3D%3D&kpid=423437706&gc...

Re: Ford 2.3 Lima

Looks like EFI source has a source of ford 60 pin ecu hookups. Found an engine for 60.00 and hope it has the wiring harness. Also picked up a 4.00 china hall sensor, and gonna make a bracket and order a 36 and 1 wheel and get it setup. I have an extra ecu somewhere and i'll see whats on it when I fi...

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case

One reason I like the ford 60 pin is that ford wiring harnesses are very well built as far as thickness of wire and using good insulation. If looking for a vehicle at the junk yard to steal a harness and connector, there are tons of fords in the junkyards to do so. One manufacture I would never sugg...

Re: Ford 2.3 Lima

Spent almost three hours last night reading about trial and errors of the board and how things have come to be and its good to see. I hope that they guy that has spoken up with interest and experiance can get one up and running and show how easy this can be. I feel like I need a book to learn about ...

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case

So is there gonna be a Frankenso board 2.0 soon or is that a ways out. is the aluminum case available thats shown in the assembled ecu? Tempted to start making a unit to play with, but I'm no where near needing it yet so I can wait. Any reason the ford 60 pin isn't suggested yet?

I can purchase a set of high ohm to get it going first. I'd like to try a resister box though if not.
