Re: Wideband Controller: Fully Custom, no ASIC!
I am not sure if current TS updater works especially in case of two units especially to update older firmware. Maybe it does maybe it does not :( I would st-link just to be sure https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/5719 https://github.com/mck1117/wideband/issues/311 Only now i had time to pull e...

Re: Wideband Controller: Fully Custom, no ASIC!
fault code 5 ``SensorUnderheat = 5`` is it possible to say anything from this log? image.png I had issues way back with cable management, due to limitation of what cables and connector i used for WBO, sporadically had issues with heater, so as a tip, use good cables, good soldering or crimping and ...

Re: Wideband Controller: Fully Custom, no ASIC!
I also have a question regarding Wideband. Using hellen 128, my car is running on this as a daily driver for the last 2 years at least. I would recommend starting with update of the wideband firmware. I believe that November 2023 version was a major improvement see https://github.com/mck1117/wideba...

Re: Wideband Controller: Fully Custom, no ASIC!
Hello all, I also have a question regarding Wideband. Using hellen 128, my car is running on this as a daily driver for the last 2 years at least. Sensor is still the same, and milage is around ~15K. I noticed in the last few months strage WBO values, i do not have a display, so only when i connecte...

Re: Tunerstudio SPI LCD Gauge on a Pi
I was thinking using this approach, so right now what i did is used this: https://www.waveshare.com/product/raspberry-pi/displays/lcd-oled/7inch-dsi-lcd-b.htm So on the back of this lcd fitted a 5v regulator and an mcp can interface, so now the rpi has an obd2 connector that i can connect to the car...

Re: proper lambda values before and after catalytic converter
I was searching on this topic on how to make my car safe since i am running a CAT. Ok, right now it is not yet fully ready, so rich and lean is there, at least the cat is not overheating and the smoke is not stinky. I was wondering if it would be possible the following situation. 1. Set AFR table to...

Re: Evo M111 into 91' 190e
Okay guys. My engine is wired to the stand-alone ECU. I have triple checked everything and I think I’m ready to try and bench start the engine. Do I need to upload some kind of base map to the ECU before doing so? Can I get some pointers on what I’d need to do to start this thing? Shoot out to Jimm...

That also work, only if no plug, if you need to take tge ecu out, you nees to cut or desolderFineWhine wrote:I cant just solder it directly to P36? I wont pin it into the harness, just solder it directly to the board.

Re: C230k M111 with future Turbo or Twincharging build with Hellen 128
Hello, i would proceed like this:
Input channel: P36_IN_O2S for EGO sensor.
Then connect a wire from P36 to P16.
P16 is connected to car connector pin E16.
Then just add a pin to car connector E16, and WBO should work

If I run an AEM gauge can it input into the ECU to help with tuning etc? If you plan to use as analog input, i can share how to modify the board. If it is can connection then it just config. For board mods i need the board revision. Maybe this will also help you https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/wik...

Re: Hellen 128 question m113 5.0
Did you checked if you have 128 pin car connector?
You do have to make engine calibration after you installed hellen in the car, i can support with the make it run part, but final calibration would make sens to do it on a dyno.

yes the magica VR works fine. First shot, thrashold was set to 0.4 and after around 20Km drive i started to have rpm jumps. The way back i configured it to 0.6V this was better, did 20km + 30 km then it started to make rpm jumps. Now it is from 0.6 to 1.2v from low rpm to 7000rpm increasing. This wa...

Re: Hellen128Merc on my w202 C220
Excellent news and congratulations! I placed my Hellen order today, but my use case is different. I'm swapping an M111.975 into a 190E 2.3-16 so this won't be nearly as PnP for me. There is a 2000 model-year C230 Kompressor in a self-serve wrecking yard nearby so I'm hoping to harvest the wiring an...

Re: Software knock processing
I think we still have some work to do there, i have a feeling that with TS samples we would not see correct data in logs, we would need to process results in fw and output only final results. For example something like on the same cylinder a change of 5db should be signalled... but then again, if we...

Re: W202 C180 with MRE 0.3
What about VVT? The M111 engine has a solenoid on the intake cam that could control the angle of the cams, to control this is simple, i have found that from 2000rpm till 5000rpm by energizing the solenoid would make the VVT work correctly. Now this is simple to do with rusEFI by using FSIO. The for...

Can integration for W202. Main problem is that the Dash from this car gathers data about car status from can bus. Since this car is from '99 the can massages are simple to decode so rusEFI extended the can dash support. This way Coolant temperature, RPM, and other "constant" values are sen...

After some more work of setting up everything and testing i managed to make the car start up nicely and idle.
