Yes, that's correct. 36-1 pattern on the camshaft.

MS and speeduino just ask if pattern is at crank or cam speed.

CAM speed trigger input

Hi,

Is there any way to get CAM speed trigger input?

I use a 36-1 trigger wheel on the end of the camshaft. Tunerstudio doesn't show this option with rusefi. All other ecu Speeduino, MS have this option.

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case / official

Ok, cool. How do we determine how the inputs and outputs are set? Is this all done through tunerstudio? A youtube of how this is done would be great time saver. edit;4-6-18 Ok, not so cool. I just hooked up tunerstudio. And this is diabolical. rusefi pinout.PNG Let's take injector 1 for example. It ...

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case / official

I don't want to come across as negative I think this is a great project but there needs to be better explanation of the basics. I've read through the wiki and I've printed out the schematic. The main information I'm after is what outputs can I use for the ignition coils, tacho, relays, etc. what's t...

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case / official

Hi guys, This is quite frustrating, I've just read through this thread and searched but I can't find any clear, concise information on what are the outputs and what are the inputs. Now I can see that the 12 low outputs are for the injectors, but what do I use for the coils, the relays, tacho outputs...

Re: Alternator field control circuit

Is not miata alternator controlled by just logic level pwm signal? I believe my 2001 miata controls the alternator with only frankenso as is. On dodge neon yes we used that large mosfet with the small addon board. I need to document better when i get home on Saturday Yes, you are correct, I thought...

Is it as simple as this? Where do you place the diode for flyback?

edit

I've ordered the IC from Mouser, was $4.73aud

Re: Alternator field control circuit

What was the end result of the alternator control?

I ended up getting a westfield alternator board for my 2003 MX5.

Re: G'day from Australia

ok thanks, the original injection on these motors is CIS mechanical so I can't use the OEM wiring. I've already wired it up and had it running with a Haltech elite750 using DEKA 60lb injectors but I would like to get it to run with the RUSefi. I'll give the local wreckers a call and see if they have...

Re: 52 pin connector for Galant VR4 pnp

The prices just for the connectors are quite high.

I might just get the connector from DIYautotune when I'm ready to do it.

Re: G'day from Australia

Ah ok, My youtube channel, I haven't posted much in the past year or so. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuBml_c7w72k1na9YLDs3QA/about?disable_polymer=true I plan on developing a turbo kit for the NB MX5/Miata. I also make trigger wheels to suit the M103 and M104 Mercedes motor so it's easier to in...
