Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
https://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=41 shows gppwm1_pin NONE same 2 3 4, that's good. Something is using PA0 already so you have a pin conflict. Please tell something not to use PA0 In your tune I see auxVoltage1:PA0 auxVoltage2:PA0 place change those to NONE Thank you. I'm going to change that....

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
In TunerStudio when I trying to change from MAP to MAF and assign pin PA0 to MAF the ecu reboots with a critical error.
Something to the effect of gp pwn needs to use PA0

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Your hardware seems to work. All the remaining answers are in your settings in my opinion. A video of the board running would not help troubleshoot your settings. If you are looking for any help from here please upload your incomplete tune to rusEFI online. Just posted it. https://rusefi.com/online...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
It looks like hardware senses the signals which is great news and the most challenging part! Now you need to get into software. You need to be looking either at Engine Sniffer in rusEFI console or Composite Logger in TunerStudio. And please publish your tune at rusEFI online. Since the harness is i...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Here's a little video of the engine cranking over and the LED pattern. Reminder still no trigger input seen in RUSEFI console.
Shouldnt the Orange LED on the ST board flash with crank signal as well? I seem to remember reading that.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
I had not but just looked through your thread. Pretty neat stuff. The talk of Mode B vs mode A2 is especially interesting and I wonder if that pertains to my board. It may take me some time to get my older Frankenso kit going. That being said testing for a crank and cam pickup pattern is on my to d...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Well I had some free time. Now I still havent actually wired the harness for MAF, TPS, IAC, INJ, IGN, but I have wired in the Crank and Cam sensors. I would think I would have seen some kind of trigger pattern in RUSEFI console and it said it was connected, flashed the MIL when tested (I wired that ...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
What kind of special are you thinking? So far I am not aware of anything special in similar circumstances. Special in that SVX igniters are as easy to purchase as Rooster Teeth and I'm being overly cautious. I think the igniter is just a block of transistors but I dont know if its inverted, open co...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
I'm not dead. Hurt my knee last year and its slowed everything down. I've converted the SVX to a manual transmission since I last posted here. No more TCU to talk too. Going through the process of updating and re-configuring the Frankenso ECU as it needed an update from its last firmware image( circ...

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
I'm bored at work and currently playing around with TunerStudio and the discovery board.
Why do I get the error "Burn page 0 failed"? whenever I make a change and hit "Burn" in Tunerstudio.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
More stuff and things happened today.
At some point maybe I could help with editing the instructions on software setup located in the wiki.
Currently they are a little confusing and some of the screenshots could use an update.
But they were good enough for me

Current status update.
Still need to order some more parts. But it lights up and I haven't lost any magic smoke.

Re: stm32f4 MPU module LQFP 100
The size is ok but the font is not crisp. There are many misprints (portions of characters missing).
I'd have to compare it to an inkjet printer running low on ink and having some clogged nozzles.

Re: stm32f4 MPU module LQFP 100
As long as the silkscreening is legible any color is fine.
The silkscreening on the frankenso 0.4 board isnt the easiest to read.

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case
argh. my bad! I thought it was 0805. Soldering 1206 instead of 0805 is a pain, at least on Frankenstein and at least for certain 1206s with smaller (narrower?) connectors. Ok i thought as much. How about this http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/taiyo-yuden/TMK212BBJ106KGHT/587-4334-1-ND/540090...

Re: Frankenso - ECU shield compatible with OEM case
Well i sure hope that was the right one. Its listed as such in the Frankenso 0.4 BOM but i just looked at the spec sheet and its a 1206 package.puff wrote:10uf 25v cap TMK316BJ106KL-T qty 10
