..or Narowband output ..?
Both outputs are capable to output in 0..5V range.
You can define any output voltage vs AFR curve.
Currently no curve defined :)

I have checked the schematic, and I see that there is a lot of changes compared with f042 board.

Why not keep both boards similar into the LSU controller circuit?
We want to support LSU4.2 and ADV also.
We planing to add some SW diagnostic.
So some changes were added to support these.

That's for reverse protection without the drop of a diode. The body diode on Q1 "kick starts" the circuit that pulls its gate low, turning it on fully. edit: the D4 TVS is for overvoltage protection Thanks for clarifying. This rises two new questions :) 1. Do we need to pass +12 for heate...

Practically speaking right now rusEFI needs 4.2 more than in needs LSU ADV (4.2 is needed to make hellen121vag happier)
BTW, I have brand new unused LSU4.2. And mate connector.

Re: F103 Wideband Controller

Yes, subtracting that part out is the right thing. Rise time of a 10 ohm / 1uF filter is on the order of 25 microseconds, but the AC is at ~3khz, which is a period if 330 microseconds. Since we do our math (not sampling) just after flipping the pin (waiting for switching noise), we catch very very ...

Re: F103 Wideband Controller

The DC component is required. That's how we get feedback for the pump controller. AC measures temperature (ESR), DC provides feedback to the pump cell controller. The nernst sense is used for two things: The DC component is used as feedback for the pump controller. The pump is servoed to maintain 0.45v DC on the Nernst cell. The AC component is used for internal resistance measurement of the sensor, which is a proxy for temperature (the sensor is roughly an ...

MRE hardware might support stepper but firmware might not. overall I am not sure if anyone in rusEFI is using stepper. We kind of have the code but we have very little priority for stepper - for us it's either solenoid or full ETB. Stepper is supported on MRE since https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopi...

Yes. Pistons from EJ22NA. Seems EJ22 has another combustion chamber shape. Thats why its pistons has bigger pool. Rods are the same as on EJ20G, EJ20K and so on. AFAIR Subaru were using same rods for NA and turbo engines until late 1990x. No space at engine bay at all. Screenshot from 2022-02-26 01-...

8.4/1 compression ratio calls for big boost. Even 8.8/1 can do 250kpa on a stroker EJ20.
Suba maniacs say 1bar is safe for pistons and rods used in this motor.

Ok. Pistons were replaced with EJ22's +0.5 pistons - the only one available. This drops CR from 10.0 to about 8.4. That makes me start thinking about turbo. Few variants were suggested: TD05-20, G25-550 and G30-770. Borg's EFR is too progressive and expensive for this 90's engine. IMG-20220222-WA000...
