Are you saying that RusEFi makes a TDC compression cycle flag per 720° arbitrarily?

Re: Hello from Norway! VW Beetle w. 3D printed intakes, 2x DBW and staged injection

That green mark is the TDC mark as generated by the ECU - it's not a sensor. It certainly seem so with respect to the phase change between the missing tooth and the green trace pulse as a function of the "Trigger angle advance" variable, but if it were a true TDC label or flag, it should'v...

EV1 and EV6, both long, are compatible. My Volvo came with EV1 style (fat) injectors, and now I have the skinny EV6 type with no other changes.

Re: Free-wheeling clamping diodes

After a little more research on these weird one-off Porsche injectors, I don't think they'll work with any rusEFI ECU today. They require some weird control to handle, so it's probably worth switching to newer units.

But if I change to another injector, it likely won't have the same flow rates, etc., so would complicate my ass-backward method I'm using now to build tables. If you're using rusEFI, it should be an easy change to switch injectors. Also, I'm not all that familiar with the different injectors availa...

Ooops .... I was wrong, they are actually 4.6 ohms. They are a Bosch 280 150 803 and I think they are from a Porsche 944 Turbo.
Are you opposed to replacing them with more modern high impedance ev1 injectors? Looks like the standard Bosch geometry, so anything else should fit.

For a test project, I was planning to use an engine with Bosch 4.5 ohm injectors. But I see the microRusEFI doesn't have enough drive current to do this, so am now planning my first test project with the Proteus instead. I assume the Proteus should be able to drive into a 4.5 ohm injector? 4.5 ohms...

Re: Free-wheeling clamping diodes

Freewheeling diodes are required when you want slow turn-off, like if you're going to PWM a solenoid (VVT, idle, etc). Fuel injectors you specifically want to turn off quickly, which means they need active clamping instead. All outputs on proteus/microRusEfi/etc have active clamping at 40-60 volts, ...

Hi, I try to compile firmware and have a error, do you know what I'm doing wrong? It's looking for the bootloader to be built first, as the bootloader gets cooked in to the main firmware image. The most "bulletproof" way to build it is to use the build_wideband.sh script, found in the f0_...

Does the ecu give you any way to change adjust the TB positions independently? That would be a great feature if it doesn't...syncing the TBs is really the best way to sort this kind of issue before going to fuel tables to deal with the affects of the issue. It doesn't now, but I think he's going to...

On another note, thinking about a crazy idea, this issue of having 2 separate banks, do you see an opportunity to develop a dual MAP, dual bank configuration that would allow us to assign injectors to a bank and then assign a wideband to each bank. The Proteus has more inputs to allow this just won...

OK. I reversed the top and bottom pins on the TPS connector. Now it works. However the 10K resistor is too high for a proper pull-up for the KIA sensor.

@Andrey maybe this should be updated to the wiki?
I think the 10k should be removed if you have an analog TPS

I powered Pin 23, 18, and grounded 19. I get similar results where the ETBs hum but no movement. In this case though there seem...

Hey everyone I'm back at it. I'm looking at the TPS issue now, I'll trace the wire back to the v4 make sure its' connected. Andrey wired the ETBs so I'm sure they should be connected. I'm guessing both TPS1's from both sides of the V12 are connected in parallel so TPS1 of ETB1 is connected to TPS1 ...

No, that's K-Jetronic. LH-Jetronic = airmass hotwire. K-jetronic = mechanical MAF (!) that actuates valves directly that control fuel flow.
