Re: GDI: injector control options

MC33816 = MCPT2000

So if I had to choose, it would be the PT2000

Re: GDI: injector control options

If we look at Bosch chips can we be sure of supply? It has been my experience that the chips are available either to OEM clients or on a very patchy aftermarket basis. That or they can change part numbers seemingly at random making identifying chips a game of whack-a-mole. This makes DIY build pret...

Re: bosch 7506280 GDI driver

Just saw your PCB picture.

Is this a pure GDI driver box?

Is it only controlling two injectors?

The big IC looks like the ASIC you find in all older Bosch ecus.

Re: GDI: injector control options

The option we have most information for are the CJ830/CJ840. Looks like we do not have a datasheet? CJ830 only available from one place in Poland NOS https://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-CJ830KS-CJ830-Automotive-IC-QFP64-BOSCH/263302842429 CJ840 two sellers on eBay Try searching with the numbers at the IC...

Re: GDI: injector control options

I have a bad feeling for the PT2000, and hope we can find something else. The safest option would be a Bosch IC. The option we have most information for are the CJ830/CJ840. It's the HI-Quad 64 found in MED7, MED9 and MED17 The IC's have different numbers for revisions/years, I have a 2006 MED9 here...

Re: microRusEfi

I see.

The only thing that looks questionable are if a thin pcb like ours will get clamped.

I think that edge looks high.

Do you have a small pcb piece you can put between and test?

I have used 100 pins.

Sure it's not meant to be bolted to bottom?

I still dont see how it can be clamped..

That edge looks like deeper than 1.6mm?

Ok, so the bottom part goes a little further in than the top?

But how deep is the edge compared to the 1.6mm PCB?

Are there room for any components at all under the PCB exept the 27 x 71

Re: Multichannel ADC instead of all analog circuitry (opamps, vr)

Another option found: AD7328 x 2. A 12-bit 8-channel 1MBPS ADC with 10V-tolerant bipolar inputs (has built-in clamp diodes capable of 10mA per each channel, so a series resistor array would be enough for input protection). Pros: Small package (TSSOP-20), fully integrated (built-in 2.5V reference), ...

fair point :) i always use F407 at 168 mhz thats the most proven platform. F407@168 is definitely rusEfi default. With 500 set, I have 388 out

"Take console 20190502 or newer" - is there a chance that your console is not 20190502?
It says 20190502_1906.

I downloaded it from the build server.

I did not understand how to build it myself.

Not sure, but something like 15% at 90 degrees to 100% at 110 degrees

But that might require a map?

For the electric thermostat I think it should just open at 90 degrees, and close under 90

How do you get that few decimals at the pid settings?

And so high numbers at the pid, have you changed some factors?

I have so many that I cannot see the first numbers in the fields :-(

And why do you suddenly have that high numbers in the bias curve again?

Thanks, Ill give that a try tomorrow.

I have looked at the FSIO stuff, but still dont understand.

All the tables are rpm/load based, all the examples I have found are rpm related.

I also have Thermostat, VVT and N75 valve that I have to control.

But the Tle8888 pins are not in the fsio settings.

Re: electronic throttle body control ETB

TL;DR: Very not linear around zero -5% 0% 15% gives more or less same default position And the jump between 15% to 19% would open throttle completely! And if we go -20% to fully close it - sometimes returning to 0% duty would not open throttle, there is so much friction (?) that the spring would no...
