Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

UPDATE: Stock harness fully pinned out, and excel sheet marked for which wires go to which on the new rusefi micro plug. Clipped and labelled each wire. Ready for my ECU to get in so I can populate the wiring on my breadboard and test sensor connection. Also I have the W201 190E chassis and power di...

I'm using the stock 722.4 transmission so speed is good
As someone wholly unfamiliar with Mercedes transmissions, is there anything the transmission computer expects from the ECU to be able to operate?
It's an old-school 4 speed auto no computer in it. So no complications. :)

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

I'm a little late to the party but welcome! It's great to see another 190e around! What is your plan to get the dashboard working? The original one that is? Hi there! Well I'm using the stock 722.4 transmission so speed is good, coolant and oil pressure and fuel level are sensors that I am keeping ...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

I have autotune in tunerstudio, has anyone used it with the rusefi micro? Yep, use it all the time. Works great! Btw, unlike some other ECUs (Megasquirt, for example) our firmware is 99% identical across different ECUs, so any functionality should be the same on any rusEfi ECU (so long as the hardw...

This ETB looks very similar to our most favorite VAG ETB, we believe we know how to set those at least on the bench.
I would be ok with adapting to the VAG one (especially if its a little bigger for more power ;) ) and I have easy access to those.

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

I meant, there's no electric TB configuration in tunerstudio (as far as I know). I'm looking for help on the setup and configuration of that (is there a feedback so the ECU sees tps position, and makes sure it matches pps?) Thanks :) That's something we're currently working on making more user frie...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

Mercedes used a conventional cable pedal going to a tps. Then that signal the ecu told the TB where to be. How would I run that? In case of electronic throttle body we usually use the term "tps" for sensors INSIDE TB. Sensors related to pedal are "pps" - pedal position sensor. D...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap)

What kind of crankshaft trigger wheel do you have? Is it a 60/2 or something weird? Do not know if it's a VR or Hall. If you say it's a two wire sensor those are often VR. Im pretty sure its VR, but I am considering adding a new sensor on the crank pulley. it currently uses a ring on the flex plate...

Hello and welcome! Electric supercharger bypass, as well as electric clutch supercharger pulley - what kind of devices are those, what kind of control would you need on those? Heres the specs: 1988 Mercedes 190e 2.3 sohc Auto, getting a M111 2.3 DOHC Supercharged 4 cyl from a 2000 SLK230. It has 2 coil on plug w...
