Re: W124 E320 Wagon M104 [Proteus]

Throttle body is going to be interesting. The cable goes to it, but if I researched correctly, it only triggers the PPS that is inside the throttle. The actual throttle movement is electrically controlled.

W124 E320 Wagon M104 [Proteus]

Hi its me again. Doing more rusefi stuff on another W124. This time a wagon. Its getting a 5 speed swap and with that the new flywheel is 60/2, so why not install a proteus and have a party? Engine is staying stock for now, using oem sensors (ill add part #s later). But heres the specs: 1994 E320 Wa...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 Twincharged Swap) #57

Just to keep the world updated. I was fighting an issue where I would start the car and fuel pressure would drop, then go to 0. Sometimes if I tapped on things in the engine bay it would pop back up  Turns out my fuel pump relay was not latching completely. Replaced and fixed. Now I have a fuel...

Hey Jimmy, Sorry for the crazy late response. I'll most likely just use a 3 port 4bar Mac valve for a boost controller. Not using the after run pump at all. Here's all the sensors and hardware with part numbers. Intake Air Temp: 0261231077 Coolant Temp: 025906041A Throttle Position: Honda 37890-HNZ...

Re: W124 E220 Cabriolet M111 Turbo MRE

Hi There! We had great progress last night. I was able to start the car using my custom 36/1 crank trigger wheel. In my tune the fuel mass was set very low (12mg) for whatever reason. I changed it to 30, and now it starts pretty quick, but then dies. Tonight im checking the base timing, and will rea...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap) #57

Looks like they should with the same flyback installed. You will need a flyback diode on E3 also for that pwm control. From what i seem to have learned, any pwm solenoid should have one. Im sure there are caveats to that. See that inj4 for VVT has one already on revA image.png So i could just switc...

Re: Making my 190e More Fun (M111 SC Swap) #57

it seems like you should be able to connect that with a PWM output that has a flyback diode on it. So like the Hellen miata uses Injector 6 output with diode added. Does your harness have anything on pins E13 or 14? looks like one of those should be usable as long as the diode is added, which is su...

N75 Boost control solenoid installed and clicking (need to fine tune freq and stuff) Tach output working on stock cluster (needs a high power Lowside, such as LS1 or LS2 on MRE). 2 times per cycle for W124 worked well (verified with stimulator up to 7000 rpm) Wideband installed and connected.
