Re: Hello from Colorado USA

I see Colorado and nice shop pictures. By chance are you this fellow? https://youtu.be/bRetFl274IE What do you have in mind for trans controller? A key issue we have is that trans controllers vary allot. We have talked about them before, but we have made little progress. The key issue is that the so...

Re: rusEFI Frankenso

Sounds like quite a project. I fear it's not as easy as you might think. You likely have lots of wiring trouble shooting ahead of you. If you replace the harness, can you get it running on an OEM ECU first? That would resolve many concerns and make sure you have things working properly. Once it's wo...

I think this is the board that Andrey has been poking me about. Are you looking for just a board so you can solder wires to the ECU side of the connector?

Do you have some kind of insulation under the PCB? That looks like it's really close to a short if it touches the back plate.

Great.

So as a recap, the real world CAM VR is wired to MRE CRANK input. Then real world Crank VR is wired to MAX992# board. Then this board is wired to MRE CAM. Then you do happy dance, and unleash the beast contained inside your metal cage.

Re: Sporttrike

Those boards use a MAX992# chip. The MAX chip has several "modes" in which it can be configured. Those boards are designed with a mode that includes a self tuning feature. Basically if you don't get a pulse in 85mS, it jacks an internal gain way up and causes noise issues. If it gets a pul...

This might also be an option.

At cranking RPM's what is the length of time between the CAM pulses? Is that length of time above 85mS?

Re: Old Russian motorcycle fuel injection

Keep in mind the primary side of the coil will get to around 400V to 600V when you spark. You need insulation that can sustain this under your operating environment. AKA foggy day or cold morning with small amounts of condensation, it needs to not arc over.

Some history, -- Bosch made WO2 sensors and chips to interface there proprietary magic with an MCU. -- I think Waltech was the first to make a real open source WO2 circuit. It uses op-amps, and mostly discrete components, and mimics what the Bosch chip does. Waltech's stuff is not OEM and not AEQ ce...

It's rated for 3.5A, and has 120 mOhm for Rds. https://jlcpcb.com/parts/componentSearch?searchTxt=C146561 This one is sl...

Re: 1984 Toyota Celica GT Liftback 2.4L 22RE ~ MicroRusEFI

MRE has 4 individual injector drivers. We expect the driver chip can drive one highZ injector per output, at 1 amp of current. It is unknown if you could batch them consuming 2A for 2 injector driven by the same output. We expect it would go into thermal overload and shut down when ambient is hot, y...

Re: 1984 Toyota Celica GT Liftback 2.4L 22RE ~ MicroRusEFI

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 12A motor has 2 rotors, and you desire to have 4 injectors. You hope that the injectors can be staged. AKA at low HP, you use only one injector per cyl, but then at high HP you use 2 injectors per cyl. Is that what you are asking?
