Re: rusEfi own wide band controller board add-on using CJ125
Some history, -- Bosch made WO2 sensors and chips to interface there proprietary magic with an MCU. -- I think Waltech was the first to make a real open source WO2 circuit. It uses op-amps, and mostly discrete components, and mimics what the Bosch chip does. Waltech's stuff is not OEM and not AEQ ce...

Re: jlcpcb injector driver
Do we have good thermal test data for TLE8888? I'm probably attempting to over-design, but my thoughts are below. The below is a fully protected MOSFET with over voltage clamping. It's rated for 3.5A, and has 120 mOhm for Rds. https://jlcpcb.com/parts/componentSearch?searchTxt=C146561 This one is sl...

I confirm, it's a 2D drawing, which is fairly good and could be used to make a 3D model.

I understand the lack of this feature is just a software effort. It can exist, but software folks have not bumped it up in priority for a variety of reasons. I suspect this would answer Sam's question.

Re: 1984 Toyota Celica GT Liftback 2.4L 22RE ~ MicroRusEFI
MRE has 4 individual injector drivers. We expect the driver chip can drive one highZ injector per output, at 1 amp of current. It is unknown if you could batch them consuming 2A for 2 injector driven by the same output. We expect it would go into thermal overload and shut down when ambient is hot, y...

Re: 1984 Toyota Celica GT Liftback 2.4L 22RE ~ MicroRusEFI
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 12A motor has 2 rotors, and you desire to have 4 injectors. You hope that the injectors can be staged. AKA at low HP, you use only one injector per cyl, but then at high HP you use 2 injectors per cyl. Is that what you are asking?

Works better when you whack it against a tree, but I guess in NJ they don't like tree's. I see they cut down the one in your font walk way. So you did the best you could with what you had.

Re: PID autotune
Did you implement the Ziegler and Nichols method for the PID's that come out of the relay auto-tune method? I'll have to check a process controller I use at work in a temperature chamber we have. I recall it's PID's were very low P, with high I and even higher D. The PID's were crazy, but the end re...

Re: hammer / press fit headers
I lack personal experience. I understand they work well, but are often considered costly. I understand you can't just smash them into your existing via's, you have to hold specific tolerances. As well once you smash it in there, you can not remove and replace with solder. So it's a one time deal. So...

Hmmm, the better half would probably be happier with me if I made this one work. It hasn't started for years, but has been dry and it used to work, so it should now. It has some carb problem last time it ran. Basically I had to run it as the floats would overflow if it was not running. It's already ...

I lack motivation as my 15 year old snow blower starts on the 2nd pull in the dead of winter. It's reliable simple, and just plain works. I don't think our diy quality controls match Ford's quality controls. There are many difficult situations to deal with. I suggest doing what was and still is the dominant technology for TPS sensors.
