Re: Hello from Nebraska

Welcome! Would the CAN sniffer work in between the ecu and the dash/bcm to help reverse engineer the communications? I would like to keep the stock gauges. Can the unused injector drivers be used to control the transmission? there is a custom firmware for sniffing only - http://rusefi.com/wiki/index...

Order placed! Looks like there would be a ~$40 bump in the price. Time to test http://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=577 this would shave about $20 off the price.

Re: Firmware developent status

Usability: it is now possible to change injection & ignition pins assignment on the fly. This should make things easier while setting everything up.

todo: make most/all pin assignments configurable on the fly. https://sourceforge.net/p/rusefi/tickets/198/

measure voltage at open air - check your weather forecast, that would be one point. do you have anything to make & measure vacuum?

Re: let's choose an enclosure

That $5 box above is a bit too small, here's the winner in my view: MEC85-561 MEC85-561 ECU was used on 2005 Nissan Sentra, there is a lot of these on eBay, they work work with that popular 121 pin connector and these are waterproof. I've got one of these already and the board size is pretty much th...

Есть мнение, что в некоторых состояниях двигателя да, у нас атмосферное давление. См. http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-prom/256564-baro-da-calculations-730-a.html

I think I'm going to add this to Frankenso R0.4 Does not it look like OEM manage to read baro from the MAP sensor uder certain load? I do not think that baro is such a pressing issue that we would need to add a dedicated sensor. I guess eventually we would want waterproof case and would not we have...

pull-up and op-amp in case of my hall sensor, yours could be different,

My VSS hall sensor uses same exact circuit as your your shaft position hall sensor: pull-up, then op-amp, then op-amp output is traced to VSS rusEfi pin which is PA8 in my case.

I think this should be controlled via FSIO, not custom code.

FSIO would allow you define a formula which would translate your RPM into duty cycle, that's exactly what FSIO was designed for.
