Wiring: The harness from any E46 with an mk60 will work. Most of it is pretty straightforward. Hello friends, I've now successfully swapped in a Teves (ATE, Continental) mk60 ABS controller from a BMW E46 3 series. I'll drop everything I know about the swap in this thread, with updates as I get more/different stuff working.

By the way, you need to set "use only rising edge" to "true" on the trigger page. This option will disappear soon, but for now it needs to be "true" for your trigger type.

For simpler conditions like that, have a look at GPPWM.

For anything much more complicated like that, then Lua.

in your logic analyzer snip, the three channels are crank/exhaust/intake

I believe you may need to use the new "cam for sync" option set to NOT zero, since the exhaust cam is the one that has enough information to sync the engine.

You could use GPPWM to control the fan pwm duty cycle based on coolant temp/engine rpm.

If you need more complex logic, lua is the place.

the NA version of your engine makes what, 200Nm from 2 liters (~0.6g cylinder airmass max at 100% VE, so ~0.55 with "good" real VE), so that's 363 Nm/gram

We already have cylinder airmass. Torque is very nearly linear to cylinder airmass, so you could just configure some value "torque per airmass" in units of Nm per gram.

That is certainly a good enough first order approximation for things like transmission control.

The interesting thing is this it seems that the "mystery Mazda" option places the cam signal on the crank. That's a vague statement. What "places" in what regard? We have a lot of moving pieces. You forgot to add it to the cam modes list, and instead added it to the crank modes ...

Cam you take a screenshot of whatever error you see? We haven't yet developed telepathy to read your mind directly, so we have to rely on pictures instead.

Looks like the high pressure fuel pump is indeed the "spill valve" type that we support.
