Re: Full JLC PCB

Lol ! I look like a teenager ? :D I am 35, and I don't think I am quick. I just discovered the PCB tools.

I go to work but I can't see my friends because of lockdown    So I have much time.

Re: [info] rusEfi Scheduler Performance & Accuracy

Okay :D Thanks, There is some H7 without dual core and with a lot of ram. I see that microrusefi come back from F7 to F4, i don't know why, but the ram is the same, so the frequency is certainly useless. The power of a stm looks completely crazy compared to others. And the frequency of an engine is ...

Re: Full JLC PCB

That's ordered. I pay for 2 assembled PCB with leadfree and TG155. There isn't a lot of options with smt assembling   I discovered that the 2 layers of the middle are only 0.5OZ, I will think different if I do others boards. That cost me 59€, with delivery in 2 weeks, but I don't know if I...

Re: [info] rusEfi Scheduler Performance & Accuracy

As interesting as it sounds, I have to agree with Andrey that it probably isn't feasible for us right now. The DMA controllers are already both quite loaded - 3 ADCs, UART, SPI (SD card logging!). I just don't think it's necessary. The jitter requirements of an engine are actually pretty generous. ...

Re: Full JLC PCB

Finally, i change a lot of things, I add 5V protection on the USB, and some resistors before mosfet. I add the max chip for K probe, and 2 other high side. A friend of mine, who help me for my boost gauge, says that I need an analog out, so I put a TLV2372 in through hole "revision", with ...

Okay ! I will receive a cheap 48pins ebay case, look a bit like the microrusefi case, but bigger and in abs. I don't have it for now but, I order it for the plugs, same as microrusefi. That allow me to try it, but I don't want to focus on an ECU for now, I use basic parts, and the STMs in basic aren...

Re: Full JLC PCB

I finally find the MAX31855 on JLC <3
It's a extended part, but look easy to install. There is a little place on the left of the stm.

Here it is.

I should have let more room for the mosfet... But some of them are for lights on dash

The part catalog of JLCPCB can be find here :

I see in the signature of "OrchardPerformance" that "Now keeping MRE and Proteus in stock in the UK, PM or slack for details."

Maybe you can see with him.

Hello, I believe that the board is ready for testing <3 I will wait a little before ordering, I will think more about it. Re: Wideband Controller: Fully Custom, no ASIC!

Really nice !!! But I understand anything    The WB 4.9 has 5 or 6 wires, the 6th is a resistance for calibration, don't always here, because of the same value on 4.9. And in the 5, there is 2 for the heater, one for +12v, and one for GND. On your schematics, I don't see +12v, so I be...

You are right ! And normally, at cold, the IAT and CLT have the same values. Personnaly, i remove the sparks and try them with the bench. I can see if the dwell time is fine, if the order is fine and IF they work properly. With injectors, you can feel and hear them more easily. On my car, I have a f...

In fact, I change my mind about Full assembled and I go for full "basic" I was thinking that the extended price was for 1 kind, but no, if you put 2 of them on a board, that make 12$ !! I finally go through hole for some parts. I can solder it. I hadn't lot of time for the PCB, but I am wo...

Hello,

I have an other question, I believe that I am right but not sure.

Does an AT input can detect ground contact ?

My clutch pedal goes to the ground, I just want to be sure if there is no risks. (maybe, must I plug a resistor before ? )

Thanks,

Re: FrankenFerrari - V12 Ferrari 308

If you want a 0-5v signal to dash, you have to use a high-side output. If you want to control the ground, you have to use a low-side output. The microrusefi, for exemple, allow a 12v output, on the high side via jumper, perfect for tacho out. image.png But you have to pay attention to the power, hig...

Re: Hello from my VW 1200

You can use one coil by cylinder and go wasted, no problem, some manufacturers are doing this with COP.

Have you a picture of what you are talking about for the sensor ? My english is very bad :D :D

If you put a sensor on the distributor, you can go full sequential.

Re: Hello from my VW 1200

The dificulty is to have a crank signal. You have to put a toothed wheel on your engine with a VR or Hall (or optical) sensor. I think that have been done a lot of times on VW 1200, and there is certainly kit. A fully prebuilt ditributorless kit already has all you need, with correct tune. With ruse...

I have to plug 3 pairs of injectors on the MicroRusEFI, like there is just 4 outputs for inductive. But on my pinout, LS1 and LS2 will be inductive ready, for exemple. So usable for cylinder 5 and 6. I can also solder the pins behind the microrusefi, but I think I will keep it stock, the VR conditio...

Re: Full JLC PCB

Thanks !
I hadn't see the BTS3028, they look better and shorter.

The MR and AR, mean Main Relay (for fuel pump) and auxiliary relay (for fan relay).
It's design for relay, and I want them small.
The 100k is a protection for stm, just in case, as the relays are inductive.

Am I wrong ?

Re: SIMPLE RPM detector Arduino and Knock Sensor

I don't think that I can help you, but maybe your knock sensor is badly placed, if you put it on the cylinder 1, you have maybe less parasite noise that in the middle of the block. DO you use a full band bosch sensor ? They are know to be the best. I am using a lilknockmeter, and it detects RPM, I d...

Thanks for the answers.

But... I have others questions :D

I see there is flashmemory on the MRE, I also see that it can be accessible by the rusefi plugin, but how can we activate the logs, is it automatic ? Can we choose what to log ?
And what happen when the memory is full ?

Thanks,
