Find out the mC used in this

Post by megatroneye »

Hi,

I know this is not exactly related to RusEFI, but I will try out my luck anyway.

Can anyone of the many smart* guys here tell me how to check what mC is used in the Bosch ECU below? I don't know how to get to that information.

http://www.bosch-automotive-catalog.com/en/product-detail/-/product/0261206986?returnPage=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bosch-automotive-catalog.com%2Fen%2Fproduct-search%3Fp_p_id%3Depdssearchresult_WAR_aaecatportlet%26p_p_lifecycle%3D0%26p_p_state%3Dnormal%26p_p_mode%3Dview%26p_p_col_id%3Dcolumn-2%26p_p_col_count%3D1%26autoLoad%3D1

Thanks in advance.

*smarter than me anyway

PS: if the link does not work, it's a Bosch MP7.0hfm with part number 0 261 206 986.

Thanks. My car is at the moment in another country and I cannot check the innards of the CPU or take photos of them, that's the main problem. I just thought that it could be possible to google out the info I want.

Thanks anyway.

99% it will be a C167CR microcontroller. But it can be with factory OTP ROM with program in OTP and data/maps in flash; or ROMLESS with code and data in external flash. Is it from a NIVA?
