30-0300 comes with... what is FAE sensor?

sensor plug looks like 4.9 but they say sensors are not compatible?! what could possibly go wrong?The AEM/FAE sensor lasts up to 3x longer than the Bosch 4.9 LSU with a 10% faster response time in testing
the gauge serial number must start with 0400, new sensor will not work on older serial numbers starting with 0300
