I got mine today, yipee!.
I do not plan to publish this article beyond CC. I believe you are correct that the original text can be published, with certain limitations, or something like that. I didn't really pay much attention to that part of it. I seem to recall a couple projects that did that. However at this point in time, I don't plan to do that. I see the printed copy is marked $9us / $10can.
