Not sure if vvt position bug has been fixed yet or not but thought I would bring it up. I have both intake and exhaust cam sensors connected and confirmed working. I haven't updated my proteus in a while so I will update it tonight and report back. For reference here is my last data log showing vvt position

I am pretty confused since not sure what bug you are referring to and not sure how exactly both VVT were confirmed working. Your tune https://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=512 does show second VVT input but no second VVT in your log.

One thing I've noticed in the code is that second VVT gauge data was not being propagated, I've made some progress on second VVT position gauge please try again in about 20 minutes https://rusefi.com/build_server/rusefi_bundle_proteus_f4.zip

By bug I just was referring to what you said a while back when I asked why my vvt position gauge said like 800+ haha. Will flash the latest bundle tonight and report back :)
Also rea both vvt working im unsure if there is an extra setting I have missed. I have both sensors set as barra ect so if I need to change some settings let me know :)

ive managed to find the pid settings for both intake and exhaust cams, can someone specify exactly what min max means in the pid section?

Whatever PID settings you found are likely not valid for rusEFI. Some other ECU vendors often scale the PID factors to make them more "human", so they aren't directly usable.

yeah from the looks they have been scaled at least 2 decimal points so I've put in 0.65, 0.15 and 0.05 for intake and 0.55, 0.12 and 0.02 for exhaust. I am yet to figure out the specific duties at which minimum and maximum positions are achieved so ill test that tomorrow :) I did have a look at both and could only find the vvt settings for the miata but i may have missed something

made some decent progress finally, i have managed to get rid of the miss (new spark plugs and plug a vacuum leak) I've also manage to get it both starting and idleing very well. after fiddling with some trigger settings i managed to get vvt pos reading 10ish on the intake and 80-90ish on the exhaust. accel enrich shows zero improvement and constantly goes lean to the point of stalling with anything more than a feather on the pedal. her is the logs i took :)

I am locking this thread since spark miss is not relevant for vvt and I am not able to edit this continues ly
