Fueling

Post by TBM »

Hi. Thank you very much for joining me to the forum! During the pandemic, I had a lot of time so I decided to make my own ECU powered by the wonderful RUSEFI firmware.

Recently I was able to connect everything to the engine which is the M54 from BMW. The car runs great and reacts to throttle pedal, unfortunately I have a problem with the fuel. I cannot go down to a mixture less than 10AFR. My VE map is very low. I have no ideas what could be the reason. I used the last firmware (2021 May "Piercing Day") with only modified pin mapping. Greetings!!!

You cannot just casually mention that and not provide pictures or relevant URLs!

Are your injector data correct? Flow rate/dead time?

I've edited your post for the second time removing screen shot of tune.

For second time I will ask that the way to request help is by using https://rusefi.com/online

I am not excited about editing your post for the third time. I am blunt and not nice but that's a requirement - take it or leave it.

Have you got a returnless fuel rail on the M54?

If so one of your ways around this might be to add a fuel pressure sensor.
Now keeping MRE in stock in the UK - https://www.FutureProofPerformance.com
