How mature are the base maps?

Post by Mikeymx5 »

In regard to the Hellen 72c

Im reading and catching up and the more I do the less I trust the base tune. The most information on tuning is from AndreyB but it looks like he is not close to a full running Miata yet.

Ignoring the Fuel/Ignition maps how mature are the other tables:
MAF (not fuel map but the conversion table)
VE table
Temperature correction tables
Battery charging (important dont want to kill a new battery)
VVT table
Knock sensor

I guess I need to know to prevent wasted time mis-tunning. Seems to me these are the most important areas to start with.
