Proteus V0.7 DFU problem

Post by bysco »

Hello dear forum guru's! While we were working with h7 proteus, because we connected + and - reverse, we desoldered H7 and put F4. Before putting F4, we also tested if H7 was going into DFU or not, and it was not putting itself in DFU mode.
Even though we put F4 in the board, it is still not going into DFU mode. Because of that we tried couple of things;
-STM32F4 has 3.3v in every VDD,VREF ports
-VCAP has ~1.2V output
-Every VSS pins and rest of the pins are soldered to the board correctly, no cold joints
-USB D+ and USB D- pins are connected to the IC, USBLC6 IC is ok, we couldn't find anything wrong with the boards USB hardware.
-Reset pins pullup voltage is correct.
-5V and 3.3V regulators are working
And after all that checking, we couldn't find what is wrong with the card. I appreciate any help regarding to the subject, thanks!

Proteus doesn't have version 7.0; it's either v0.7 😂 I haven't focused on that part a bit due to the stress this problem has caused me 😊 The customs issues in my country and the realization that not all the chips used are available on JLCPCB make the idea of ordering a new board quite daunting for me.

What if there is no short circuit between the data lines and GND or 5V due to the malfunction of USBLC6? Nevertheless, if I attribute all my suspicions to this IC, do you know a good way to test it without removing it from the circuit

I'm also curious about @MCK1117's opinion on the matter.
