Can bus based systems

Hi everyone, I am working on converting an automatic zc31s (Switft sport 2008) and want to figure out how to get Lua scripts working on a rusefi proteus so I can change gears. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can read from the current ecu while the car is running to pull the can commands? Thanks in advance for any help
