Greetings from the UK!

Post by dreamhazard »

Looks like there are a few Brits here, I'm currently residing in North Wales (for my sins, though no-one will tell me exactly what they are)

I've got a 1.2 Fiat Punto 16V DOHC which I'm using as a daily driver and learning platform... not advisable to use one car for both I know but you only live once.

So I've got a Haynes manual in hand and a notebook ready for all the information I can gather, and I'm looking forward to getting started on this build!

I've already got a Frankenstein board and the STM32 Discovery, just waiting for the components to start populating the board and I'll be well on my way :D

Aaaaaand the punto's dead. Head gasket, engine beyond reasonably priced repair.

This is not the end of the story, however, I bought a Ford Focus Zetec Estate which has a tidy little 1.6l engine so I'll be playing with that going forward.

Hate it when boring details get in a way of a cool project! Just wasted a day chasing a dead ignition coil.
