Hello from Greece

Post by Constant »

Hey everybody, greetings from Greece !

I hope you guys are doing great!

After trying almost every mainstream aftermarket ecu in the market i came across rusEFI and im quite intrigued to give it a try !

The test subject is a 2JZGTE VVti Automatic swapped Lexus IS200 (formerly manual) , currently running on aristo ECU with minor modifications for multiplex and automatic transmission to work.
Runs fine , as OEM as it gets , everything except traction control works.

Whats the best choice for me here ? note that i have access to professional soldering gear (friend of mine runs an electronics board repair business and has all machinery required).

Id like to run as many options possible (automatic transmission control ? , canbus to multiplex translation ?) .

Thanks in advance !

Why try rusEfi at all? No automatic transmission control.

We have CAN something but not sure what is multiplex translation :(

Why mess with car electronics in first place ? for the fun of it ...

Automatic control can be retained to OEM ecu , or i could add a microsquirt for that one.

Multiplex is a toyota/lexus can protocol
