Hi from Kansas

I kind of showed up and started contributing without anyone really knowing anything about me, so here goes.
I run a computer and phone repair business in the small farming community of Montezuma, Kansas. Computer programming and cars have always been my two of my biggest interests. (mountain biking is in there somewhere, but that's hardly relevant) A few years ago I even made my own ECU, which ran on a Teensy 3.1. RusEFI was pretty basic at that point and not capable of running my vehicle. (1990 F-150 5.8) I got as far as controlling fuel on a running vehicle (batch injection, speed density) with it before realizing that my code was junk and if I wanted to do any more I would need to start over. That ended that project, and I focused on other things for a while, and ended up selling the pickup. Now I've got another pickup that will need a aftermarket ECU some time in the future, and being older and wiser have decided to not waste my time programming my own from scratch. Better far to contribute to one that's 90% of what I'll ever need.
So here I am.

I've also done a bit of electronic design, but am definitely no pro.
I've also held a part time job as a mechanic, and currently do a little mechanic work on the side for family members etc., but don't officially run a mechanic business.

This is my beater, probably headed for the junkyard anyway, so if a vehicle is needed for destructive testing (the fun kind) it's an option.

F150 you say, do you know dims for your connector? If you have dims I could either make or help make a break out board.

97 f150 is likely eec-iv, which we have a breakout board for the mustang version.
Would have to check the pin out and keying though.

The last remains of my first ECU have finally been thrown away, the last bits of value having been plucked out and reused.
