They say that's a set of 760 sensors.

What do we see here - is that a pair of 4.2 or 4.9?

rockauto says BOSCH 17208 for "2006 bmw 760 upstream" looks 4.2 to me? :(

Well, not all five ends have clicked properly. To be continued!

BMW+Harbor Freight = Lada, right?

One of the five ends of the new they-say-OEM hose would click but not seal. One Harbor Freight seal later I was able to keep the coolant within the system for 20 careful minutes.

Q: what is the status of N73 under rusEFI control?

A: open question how many of what units would be driving two HPFPs - see https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/3841

also we probably want not just N73 but also happy 6hp CAN integration? if that's the case, first milestone is happy VAG Passat TCU just to gain experience

6 months from now would be optimistic to drive on 760 around the block, 12 months sounds more realistic at this point.

Does it look for an easy way out of misery? A fireball directly to Valhalla?

Some people say there is a tank ventilation valve more in that corner. Some people say this has nothing to do with the sudden freeze -20C/-4F

Main leak was from 16-14-1-183-311
Secondary dripping from 16-11-6-752-853

Short term fix is ugly but it should do it to park the car while waiting for parts

Hey Andrey,

I'm able to order those parts here in germany, they are available within 3-4 working days. If you want, I can do it and send them to you.

Nope, these parts could not be a problem.

Now that I have new parts in my hands it's obvious that the canister is just fume breather, and the hose is just a hose. My common sense tells me that the huge amount of gas is simply not supposed to be reaching this hose?

Maybe the tank was filled to the brim and the one way valve was not working in order to stop liquid fuel reaching the canister?

Every month I touch the big mistake. This time I decided to drive one mile to drop kid at school.

Car has died in the middle of the hill on the way to school. The whole thing with crazy fuel tank means fuel level gauge is not to be trusted :(

Something is messed up since car would only take 9 gallons of gas. Anyway, finally time to download ISTA+ (ISTA-D)?
