rusEFI and a 95 Mustang

Post by ghpg2 »

Hello!

I'm new to the DIY ECUs but not on car electronics and pcb manufacturing.

I'm want to develop a plug n play ECU for my 95 Mustang GT (5.0, TFI ignition) and then later for my 95 Mustang v6 (3.8, EDIS-6).

I've searched around but couldn't find much information about support for these ignition systems. Can anyone point me to the right direction?

I'm willing to exchange my PCB layout and manufacturing knowledge for some tips or software improvements!

Thanks in advance.

There's some talk in here about TFI:

https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=39595#p39595 could be relevant. Another option is to make an adapter for Proteus. Someone please post public adapters for Proteus?

I'm actually working on this exact problem. I'm using an adapter board based off Proteus and it's completely plug and play. https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1890&start=150

The boards should be here in about a week and I'll be working with the software guys to hopefully add the tfi waveform but this could take a bit of time. Once I get things tested and running I'll have them for sale.
