2008 Yamaha R6

Post by AndreyB »

I might have access to a slightly crashed 2008 Yamaha R6 just as a test mule. I know it has 60 pin superseal pretty sealed ECU and that's all I know about this vehicle.

Being a 600cc is that one of the engines used by student formulas? That would make it interesting.

Would anyone have a wiring diagram for this 60 pin bike? Any 60 pin bike? I wonder how similar is that ECU to Hayabusa

I've seen people run a GT3076R on a 600cc motorcycle engine, with good results :)

A lot of cool info at https://www.r6-forum.com/threads/new-to-me-09-r6-engine-controller.381617/

I better pause until I confirm that this is in fact 2008 since 2007 seems to use another ECU connector.
