This is a thread where my old junk is going to run turbocharged 1G-FE engine on Proteus board.

It's a rebuilt 2.0 Inline 6 motor with added TD05 turbocharger, decompression plate to lower compression ratio to 8.5:1 and Mazda RX-8 injectors to fuel it.
Of course there were lots of smaller mods like changing returnless fuel system to return style, more capable fuel pump etc...
The original ECU is a no-go as it has a specific dual Toshiba MCU architecture with the software in built-in Mask ROM.
Still in progress, the goal is to have the PnP to just replace stock ECU with rusEFI
At the moment it's about 90% re-created functionality of OEM system to control DBW, VVT-i, ACIS systems etc.
Still need to dyno it, at the moment it's about 1.0 bar of boost, so should be 300hp-ish
