Got myself a new problem at
https://www.capitalautoauction.com/ which was an overall great experience
$1100 bid did not work, seller has accepted $1400
With all the fees including title application auction total bill was 2151.26
One click $202 towing from Philly to Jersey City NICE!
The only annoying thing was I had to drive to Philly to sign the papers, would have been nice to have the car dropped at my door without any effort.
Transmissions codes were clearly disclosed - zero drama here.

Now comes the drama: note that it's on the tow truck? It's because while it did make it to the gas station, it did not make it to the car wash. Maybe it was about the evil hill (couple of years ago I was stuck on the same hill in my v12 BMW)
Suddenly at the hill I only had R gear. One happy tow truck ride back with codes reset I was able to move 2ft forward but I see the writing on the wall...
P0300-00 comes up right away would be nice to address it.
Relatively new battery, brand new VVT solenoids (?), HPFP receipt in the trunk. Looks like someone was trying to maintain this vehicle until they give up?

Moving coil packs between 2 and 3 did not affect misfire in 3
On the photo spark plug 2 is on the left, spart plug 3 is on the right. Moving spark plugs around did not affect misfire in 3.
Next step compression check or is it already safe to assume stuck injector 3?

OOF
that plug has a lot of oil on it
and a different plug and coil didn't fix it
looks like bad compression there

A lot of boring progress. This test mule is very not well, but with some HPTuners help it got slightly more useful - misfire detection is OFF, TCU solenoid check OFF, what could possibly go wrong?

GM loves their high-side controlled relays, this time is starter relay.

I'm honestly surprised that plug works in any cylinder, maybe best to just replace it.
