Time to go LS. Being the most advanced open source ECU it has to be gen5 LS, right?

When working on these PnP having a patch cord helps a lot

I'm guessing you're using a variant of the Proteus. I don't know what electronic component is used to drive the 5 volt logic signal for the LS coils, but the UAEFI uses a 3.3v-5.0v Logic Level Translator. I retrofitted LS coils on my Jeep inline 6 (4.6 stroker). It ran for less than an hour and the LLT burned out. I desoldered it and replaced it. Again the new one lasted less than an hour. Just a heads-up. Here is my thread: https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2804

Are you triggering the fuel pump or is there still a factory control in place? If you're not powering the fuel pump, then the factory system probably cannot see that the engine is cranking over and turning it off after the initial prime pulse.

Yes, I can hear the low pressure pump working. Without proper CANbus I assume it over-delivers in some fail-safe mode.

We went too far on stm32s on this MVP, next revision should probably have much fewer of those.

Today was spaghetti day. Tunes and logs including searching for HPFP angle at https://github.com/rusefi/gen5-data

Hopefully PnP tomorrow.

That is really cool!
You should market the PnP ecu with the extension lead to the OEM connectors, I'm sure there are a lot of people wanting to buy it

i have a few boards which are known to work to some extent, but overall this effort is on hold until a larger customer/partnership comes up. Will be presenting it at PRI

I would not recommend this board as your first rusEFI experience.
