Hey guys, I'm Will from Louisiana. Was Googling some stuff on the MSIII when an article came up about this neat looking ecu. I think it looks like a much better package and especially like the idea of reusing an old ecu case and plug. I must admit though I only know enough about electronics to get into trouble. I'm hoping I can pretend to know enough to get this thing going on my old Datsun I'm looking to convert over to efi.

Hey Will!
Unless you would start to use French Louisiana should be fine (that's an example of my uncontrollable humor right away)
It depends what your plan is. rusEfi is definitely still lacking behind MS3, but going the rusEfi way you would definitely have a chance to learn something and gain a much deeper understanding - that's if you want to. Jared did a great job cleaning up the wiki @ http://www.rusefi.com - it should get you an overview of where we currently stand. Once you decide this works for you, you would need some hardware and wires and we can start by reading tachometer signal.
Welcome!

I wish I knew french, that was lost with my grandparents, never taught my parents or me. But anyways, I forgot to mention I donated to the kickstarter, so hopefully that goes well. I'm planning on using a tbi and getting crank from a tooth wheel. Havent decided on a hall or VR. I'll convert later from distributor to most likely the ford edis4.russian wrote:Hey Will!

Hello and welcome along. As russian noted the wiki is a work in progress so feel free to stop by there and see what you can learn, and of course, feel free to post questions and such in the forums. Again welcome along, it's going to be a fun ride
