Honda CBR 600 RR

Hey,

We're running a Honda CBR 600 RR engine with 2 sawed tooth on the crankshaft. We ran a capture using the Frankenso board and this is what we got. Would the best way to add a new trigger shape be to hardcode the angles?

I need same kind of a picture with more data - in the bottom-right corner of the console there is a setting how many events are recorded per screen, can you please bump this value by 50% or 100% as long as it works? I want to see a clear cycle but so far I do not see a patter - the trigger #1/trigger #2 shape does not make a full cycle.

I've just added new enum HONDA_CBR_600 value, once we have a better picture 2nd step would be counting how many tooth we have in a full cycle. Once we know how many events in the whole cycle we would be ready to the final phase.

PS: you can also hit 'disable ignition' and 'disable injection' just to not have these events consume space on the engine sniffer.

By the way hobra 600 trigger skeleton currently ignores second signal, just reads one. While we are still trying to detect the general idea of the trigger shape and count how long the cycle is, please use whatever trigger you were using before.

By the way a neighboring topic http://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=936 is currently going throw the pretty much the same thing might be useful reading.

Nice meeting you and your tricking cam wheel! @ says you want to add a potentiometer in parallel to one of these resistors above MAX9926 - on the one used for cam channel on your harness.

The funny thing is that I'm using CBR600RR throttle bodies on my car too! 8-)

So, I guess we could share some of the firmware settings like injector params etc. :)

Which reminds me to ask if you want to start a thread about your car :)

Stock injectors are 190cc at 45psi I think. (all 8 of them, each stage has different spray pattern)

Afaik, there's 16450-MEE-D01 for 2005-2006 models - codename "0060", and 16450-MFJ-D01 (2007-2010), codename "1060".
The orange ones "1060-72208" seem to be close to 199cc, and the gray ones "1060-72213" have a flow rate of 205cc.
For CBR1000 they are 294cc and 315cc accordingly.

Anyway, it can be easily checked - if there's an assembled injector test stand.
I've maid a horrible home-made stand to test the flow rate:

I've measured the flow rate and injector lag (dead time) for different voltages...

P.S.

I will, eventually!.. Perhaps, in the russian subforum - nobody here is really interested in 40-year retro car, I guess... :?

I am, I'm a big fan of old cars, especially what we call 'old skool'

Hello, I am trying to get a CBR600RR to run on MRE. Can you share me your tune please as a starting point?
