New Rusefi project VW 3.2L VR6 turbo engine

Hi all...
That's another challenge for the rusefi
VW 3.2 vr6 24v engine (downsized to 3.0L with another crank) + GTX3582r + 1000cc (full sequential) + oem ETB
I noticed that we can not choose bigger injectors in the setting.
Here I wish to realize this project, of course with photos and videos to come
I also wish to make the VVT work, and there I have a lot of questions
This project, is for streetrace with 1.8b maximum turbo pressure.

I received the rusefi ecu, and I started the integration.
Here I want to operate in full sequential.
In the list when I choose cranck trigger type: VW 60/2 and operation mode: with cam sensor, I don't have the possibility to use the sequential, Is it normal? In "sensor input menu I can't choose channel for cam input.
Can the software read the cam trigger wheel of the VW? It has 4 teeth.
In the menu we can not choose the number of teeth of a trigger wheel.
I really want to be able to control the VVT and ETB with the rusefi.

For other questions, I would ask as I go forward on the project :D
Thank you for your feedback on 6 cylinders & ETB

I am a bit confused
1) do you have VVT on this engine? one or two? what is the exact engine code and what is the exact model and year of the donor vehicle or your vehicle?
2) do you have the shape of these four tooth? are they equally spaced at 90 degrees? or something else?

As is your would not be able to use 60/2+4. I would need to make some changes to add support for your trigger.

I suggest starting making progress with just 60/2 with batched on two wires while we figure out details to run your fully sequential.

Regarding the crankshaft, it's quite simple, we take that of the old VR6 2.8 12v engine, they have a different stroke from the 3.2L and is mounted in place without changes.
And like that we get a 3.0L engine but with another behavior more angry in the rpms but especially a drop the RV for a turbo swap.
You will see a lot of videos on youtube, it's an original R32 (3.2L) and with the new crank they call it a R30 (3.0L).

Really sorry, I'll try to explain myself a little better
1) Yes of course the 3.2L vr6 24v have 2 VVT, but for me it's useless to want to control the 2 cams.
All these engines have VVT exhaust and intake. So for the exhaust I'm going to install a variable pulley.
2) I'm sending you some pics of the type VVT of pulley, and I can also send you the configuration I have on an MS3 with the same engine that works with a single VVT in admission without any problem.
I don't know if it can help you understand and see which model of cam trigger wheel.
I will actually start with just 60/2 with batched, But the most important for me would be to make the VVT work and sequetial after.
Thanks a lot for your support

And now in attached files you have
right side the VVT pulley from the firt vw 3.2 vr6 engine (same target int/exh)
left side the VVT pulley from the last vw 3.2L vr6 engine like BUB engine code
Each type of pulley operates with its own phase sensor.
But the number of teeth remain the same (4 teeth)

On the photo with two trigger wheels, which one is yours? Is your rusEfi already wired to the car - can you spin the engine and receive CAM signals?

I would need you to record the exact trigger shape for me - see https://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:Trigger#Unknown_trigger_type see https://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:UnknownTrigger

In the meantime I need to make some code changes :) https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/606

Hi,
My trigger is the one that left, but one or the other gives the same result with its own cam phase sensor.
For the moment the rusEfi is not yet installed on the car, I'm currently installing a module for the ETB and preparing the connection of the wires.
It will be difficult to send you the record crank & cam signals right now.
On the other hand, I have a .csv file with crank and cam sync data but done with ms3 if it can help. ;)

Yes yes of course :D
MAP sensor + baro => https://www.diyautotune.com/product/mapdaddy-4-bar-map-sensor-with-barometric-correction/
ETB module it's "VNH2SP30-E module" from this post => https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=592

Wow $75 for $28 in sensors. Sensors like mpx4250ap do similar for $40 and don't need the additional PCB.

Yes I know, not wrong, I even made that choice in another rusefi (https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1382)
My client already had this model in stock, so ...
