Hello,

I introduced myself some time ago, here https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1266&p=27065#.

I finally decided to try the adventure, I ordered a frankenso kit that I should soon receive.

This is my first project of this kind, I will disturb you many times, but I would like to run my engine with this ECU.

see you soon.

Sounds like https://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:Trigger#Subaru_7.2B6_tooth I am not sure if that's the one affected by rusEfi MAX9926 watchdog issue or not.

Current Frankenso schematics is problematic for some subaru trigger. Please search forum about max9926 watchdog issues.

That link shows everything working. It looks like he had no max9926 issues, maybe i am confusing with another trigger. Someone with better memory maybe will clarify?

The default max9926 chip might be an issue. We might need to make some modifications to make it work. However that depends on the crank wheel. Some older Subaru crank wheels had gaps while cranking at around 300 RPM. I'll have to look I think we made an add-on VR MAX9926 which bypassed the watch dog issue. Either that or we found a purchasable option. However has not been done yet, so it would be some new ground. As well if your crank wheel is from a slightly newer Subaru, then this is not a concern. We really need to know what crank wheel you have. If your crank wheel does not work, then we may need to make a modification to make it work. The good news is that rusEFI will work, but it might be a bit more work to get it to that point. We really need to verify which crank wheel you have.
