Will put the stickers on at the end of work. Don't want to scratch them before the final pictures. Scratched stickers looses power.

is that a wire soldered in the middle of microRusEfi? What does it do?

When I was checking the dwell during starting and had some questions you told me to report the crank signal.
This wire is soldered to this tab. It got under the manometer per accident and has nothing to do with that static measurement.

I have just damaged a board doing some similar soldering. Open question what is the safest method to hook up to these pads.

@JPh can you please post images and information on how you connect MRE to OEM harness?

Based on your progress I wonder if shall try to make a Renault KM4 PnP board?

As announced in the first post, I want a dual purpose setup.

OEM ecu for road use and rusEFI for the track.

So I have two looms in the car : the oem one and an other for using MRE. It's part of an OEM one connected to the pigtail I received with the fully assembled MRE.
I have added a db9 plug to interface the mre with the car parts I need informations from or that I need to command. For exemple fan command fuel pump command +12v from the key switch etc.
There's also a power plug to feed +12V from the main relay to the mre assembly.

For the Pnp board I whould not buy it because the oem cops are wired in series. So you have only two connector pins going to the coils

Wikipedia knows K4M https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_K-Type_engine#Applications_(K4M_16v) is this related to your KM4? What year is your engine? How does OEM ECU connector look like - how many pins on the connector?

After having good time this summer driving the car, it's time to go back to rusefi work.
First project is to work on a on-board torque sensor.
My engine mounts are soft rubber and they allow the engine to rotate freely when the anti torque link is removed.
Anti torque link :

Video with the link removed :

The plan is to replace the torque link by a force sensor and to calibrate it.

Some progress these days. First prototype of an engine mounts flex sensor.
It's a throttle pedal sensor mounted on a mast to amplify the mouvement of the mount.

If it's accurate enough to be able to mesure something useful...
First idea was to mesure torque link force but my car is too small to make it simply.
So I made the rubber flex prototype.
Problem is I cannot drive the car in winter I have an insurance stop in December January anf February.
Anyway I need to test bench my injectors to mesure the parameters and driving an open windy car with nowadays temperatures is not fun. N
Next work will be to do a better calibration, more precise and extended range.
