A critical issue was just reported: https://sourceforge.net/p/rusefi/tickets/96/ Please do not run the engine before this gets fixed!

I need to fix right?
rpm 200
set_global_trigger_offset_angle 60

It will make it easier to start engine?

set_global_trigger_offset_angle >> I want to know what it is?

No-no-no-no.

YES, you need new firmware version
NO, you do not need to apply these settings - these settings are just a way to TEST the fix, they have nothing to do with the fix itself.

The yellow one - do we want more fuel or less fuel? Anyway please try http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:Fuel_Control#Fuel_control_during_cranking

Green - spark - this one is more strange. I wonder if your spark signal is inverted from normal? Can you check voltage on the spark while while key is in 'ignition on' position and the engine is stopped? I want to be sure that the same voltage happens there with stock ECU and rusEfi. Anyway, that would be http://rusefi.com/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Software:Ignition_Control#Timing_control_during_cranking

PS: can you please email me your mitsubishi.cpp if you made any changes, and post or email your 'showconfig' output?

fixed. You would need fresh firmware to use with the latest TS project, or you can simply edit your project in your existing configuration - you would need to change '20' to '200' in the CrankingMaxTempPW line

What pins have continuity? How many ohms does it read between pins 1-2, then 2-3, then 1-3. That's with 1 on the left and 3 on the right in the above picture. Is this spring loaded? For example, it might be coil 1 = move CW, and coil 2 = move CCW, then no signal means stay still. Also do you have a functional OEM system that uses this setup? If so we can sniff to see what's happening.

pin 1-2 ,2-3,4-5,5-6 = 33 ohm

At this point this type of idle valves are not supported :( At this point we are trying to get 2-wire, sprung solenoid kind working.

The hardware valve control works for at least a year already, valve control logic is probably fine - but since no one is driving with rusEfi it's hard to tell :)

Are pins 1-3 = 66 ohms and 4 - 6 = 66 ohms?

I have had a hardware plan for supporting steppers. I'll see if russian is on board with my plan. I think we'll have stepper support shortly. Can you take these ohm readings and let me know if they are 66 ohms?

How is it after reboot? There is a known issue with crash on config write - https://sourceforge.net/p/rusefi/tickets/114/ - restart is the current work-around.

What's on the LCD screen?

Are you using latest rusefi.ini file? Let me try all this at home later today and we would need to try it via teamviewer maybe.

I do see the red LED when I connect with TS :(

The error message is not displayed properly - I will go downstairs & see if I see it on the LCD screen. All I get in console is
"firmware error: ," - no idea what is this comma. Does anyone want to set GDB and set a breakpoint @

Code: Select all

void firmwareError(const char *fmt, ...)
and tell me the error message pretty please? :)
